Bradwell on Sea has been on my list of places to visit for a couple of months. Of course this Chapel is heavily photographed for its isolated location and is well known. However I had forgotten about for a while until I was researching old airfields looking for derelict buildings when I remember the name on the map while I was looking at Bradwell Bay Airfield. A rare Sunday without plans came up and I decided to take the drive out to Bradwell. My daughter no longer trust my estimated time in a car as I badly underestimated the journey time. However, once there the light was spectacular (although we did endure a hail storm). We did have a quick glance at the Airfield and the Power Station. The trouble was the Airfield was next to the power station and many Nuclear Decommissioning Authority Keep out sign were plastered around. Generally pointing cameras at places with Nuclear involved can lead to long discussions with police an security about private and public land!
